Tap the round "+" button in the app to open quick add, type your task, pick a notebook and send. You can also add one from the Home or Lock Screen — see below.
Tap the line. A pen stroke draws across it. Tap again to bring it back. You can also tap a line directly inside a Home Screen widget without opening the app.
Home Screen: long-press an empty area → "+" → search "Rovna" → pick a size. Lock Screen: long-press the Lock Screen → Customize → add the "Notebook" widget under the clock. Each widget can show a different notebook — long-press it → Edit Widget.
Open Settings inside the app → "Lock screen button" → "Show me the steps". It walks you through adding the Rovna "Add task" control (via Apple Shortcuts) to your Lock Screen. You can also ask Siri: "Add a task in Rovna."
Yes. Rovna has no account, makes no network requests, and asks for no permissions. Every task stays on your device.
Not currently — everything is stored locally on each device. Your data is included in your normal encrypted iCloud/Finder device backup if you have that enabled.
Yes. Open the Settings tab for six palettes (Minimal, Classic, Snow, Night, Kraft, Mint), three paper styles (plain, ruled, grid), and four fonts. Widgets have their own appearance settings too.
iPhone on iOS 18 or newer. Liquid Glass surfaces and Lock Screen widgets look their best on iOS 26+.
